How do I restore a previous purchase?+
If you've already subscribed to Grace Premium and it's not showing on a new device — or after reinstalling the app — restoring it is quick.
- Open Grace and go to Settings (the gear icon on your profile).
- Tap Restore Purchase.
- Sign in with the Apple ID you used when you originally subscribed.
Your Premium access should unlock within a few seconds. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID on this device — that's the one your subscription lives with.
How do I cancel or manage my subscription?+
Grace subscriptions are managed entirely through Apple — we don't store or process your payment details directly. To cancel or make changes, you'll do it through your Apple ID settings:
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions.
- Find Grace in the list and tap it.
- From there you can cancel, switch plans, or see your renewal date.
You'll keep Premium access until the end of your current billing period, even after cancelling. No charges after that.
How does the Grace Day streak work?+
Your Grace Day streak tracks how consistently you're showing up for your daily devotion — and we've built it to be encouraging, not stressful.
Here's how it works: missing a day doesn't automatically break your streak. Life happens — a long day, a travel day, a tough week. If you miss one, a Grace Day is applied automatically to cover it, and your streak carries on.
You get one Grace Day a month on the free plan, or five a month with Premium. Your streak only resets if you've used up your Grace Days, or if you miss several days in a row. The moment you open Grace and read your devotion for the day, that day is counted.
How do I delete my account and personal data?+
You have full control over your data, and deleting your Grace account is straightforward.
- Open Grace and go to Settings.
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm your choice when prompted.
This permanently removes your account, prayer history, notes, streak data and other personal information from active Grace systems. Deletion may take up to 30 days to complete, and limited anonymised or legally required records may remain. Once deletion is complete, it cannot be undone.
If you subscribed to Grace Premium, deleting your account doesn't automatically cancel your Apple subscription — you'll want to cancel that separately through your Apple ID settings (see the subscription question above) to avoid future charges.
If you run into any trouble or would prefer we handle it for you, just email us at hello@graceapp.uk and we'll take care of it promptly.
What is Ask Grace?+
Ask Grace is your in-app companion for faith questions. Whether you're curious about any verse or passage, want to understand a theological concept, or just need encouragement for something you're walking through — Ask Grace is there to help you explore your faith at your own pace.
It's designed to feel like talking to a knowledgeable, kind friend who meets you where you are — no jargon, no judgment, just honest answers grounded in Scripture.
How many questions can I ask? What's the difference between free and Premium?+
On the free plan you get one Ask Grace question a day, plus one more each day inside the Bible reader — enough to get a real feel for how it helps. Once you've used them, Ask Grace will let you know and give you the option to upgrade.
Grace Premium gives you unlimited Ask Grace questions, so you can dig in as deeply as you want — any time, any topic. Premium also unlocks the full devotional archive, offline access, and more.
The app isn't loading or content isn't appearing. What should I do?+
Most loading issues resolve quickly with a few simple steps. Try these in order:
- Check your connection. Grace needs an internet connection to load fresh content. Try switching between Wi-Fi and cellular, or open a webpage to confirm you're online.
- Close and reopen Grace. Swipe up from the bottom of your screen to close the app fully, then tap the icon to reopen it.
- Restart your iPhone. This clears temporary issues that a simple app restart won't fix.
- Check for updates. Open the App Store, tap your profile icon, and scroll down to see if a Grace update is available. Keeping the app current helps avoid known issues.
- Reinstall the app. If none of the above helps, delete Grace and re-download it from the App Store. Your account and data are stored securely — just sign back in and everything will be there.
My streak or progress isn't syncing across devices. How do I fix this?+
Sync relies on a stable internet connection and the same account being signed in on all your devices. Here's how to get everything aligned:
- Make sure you're signed into the same Grace account on both devices (check Settings → Account).
- Ensure both devices have a working internet connection.
- Pull down on the home screen of Grace to manually trigger a sync refresh.
- If the issue persists, try signing out and signing back in on the device that seems out of date.
If your streak shows differently on two devices, the server version is always the authoritative one — it may take a moment to update after completing your devotion.
