Grace

Terms of Service

Last updated: 20 August 2026
Please read these terms before using Grace. By downloading, installing, or using the Grace app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app. These terms govern your use of Grace.

1. About Grace

Grace is a daily devotional iOS application designed for people who are new to the Christian faith, typically within their first one to two years of belief. The app provides daily scripture verses, devotional content, streak tracking, and an AI-powered feature called Ask Grace that offers spiritual guidance rooted in the Bible.

References to "Grace," "we," "us," or "our" throughout these terms refer to the service and its operator. References to "you" or "your" refer to anyone who downloads, installs, or uses the Grace app.

2. Eligibility and Account

You must be at least 13 years old to use Grace. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the app and agree to these terms.

Grace is distributed through Apple's App Store. To access subscription features, you must have a valid Apple ID and a payment method on file with Apple. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Apple ID and any access to the app on your device.

3. Free Tier

Grace offers a free tier that includes the following features at no cost:

  • Daily verse — one scripture verse each day, with plain-English explanation and a short prayer
  • Streak tracking — your daily reading streak is tracked and displayed within the app
  • One free Ask Grace question each day — plus one free Ask Grace question each day within the Bible reader. Both allowances reset daily.
Scripture itself is never paywalled. The text of the Bible — including the daily verse and any scripture quoted within devotional content — is always freely accessible in Grace, regardless of whether you hold a subscription.

We reserve the right to adjust the features included in the free tier in future updates, though we will always maintain free access to daily scripture.

4. Subscription Plans and Pricing

To unlock the full Grace experience — including unlimited Ask Grace questions, all devotional Stories, and any additional premium content — you can subscribe to one of the following plans:

PlanPriceBilling Cycle
Weekly£4.99Every 7 days
Monthly£9.99Every 30 days
Annual£64.99Every 12 months

Auto-Renewal

All Grace subscriptions are auto-renewing. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the same price unless you cancel it before the renewal date. Apple will charge your payment method on file no more than 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.

Free Trials

We may offer free trials from time to time. If you subscribe during a free trial, you will not be charged until the trial period ends. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged.

Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. If we increase the price of your current plan, Apple will notify you and will require your consent before the new price applies. If you do not consent, your subscription will not renew.

How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings. On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions, select Grace, and tap Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to premium features until then.

Cancelling through the Grace app itself or by contacting us directly does not cancel your Apple subscription — cancellation must be done through Apple ID settings.

5. Refund Policy

Grace is distributed exclusively through Apple's App Store. All payments for subscriptions and any in-app purchases are processed by Apple, not by us.

We do not have the ability to issue refunds directly. All refund requests must be submitted to Apple and are subject to Apple's refund policies. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com and follow Apple's instructions.

Apple's decision on any refund request is final and outside our control. We are unable to override, appeal, or circumvent Apple's refund determinations on your behalf.

6. Ask Grace — AI Feature Disclaimer

Ask Grace is an AI-powered feature that provides devotional and spiritual guidance based on your questions. It draws on scripture and Christian devotional thought to offer encouragement, reflection, and biblical perspective.

7. Acceptable Use

  • attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise extract the underlying code or AI models used in the app

8. Intellectual Property

King James Version Bible Text

The King James Version (KJV) of the Bible, published in 1611, is in the public domain. The KJV scripture text used within Grace is freely reproducible and is not owned by us.

Grace Original Content

All other content within Grace — including but not limited to devotional explanations, plain-English scripture summaries, Apply It sections, prayers, Stories, app design, graphics, and any text not directly quoted from the KJV — is original work owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, publish, display, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit any Grace original content without our prior written consent. Personal, non-commercial use within the app (such as sharing a single verse or reflection with a friend) is permitted.

Your Content

If the app ever includes features that allow you to submit text (such as journal entries or prayer requests), you retain ownership of what you write. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and display that content solely to operate the service for you.

9. Privacy

Your use of Grace is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. By using Grace, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy. A copy of the Privacy Policy is available within the Grace app and on our website.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Grace is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of Grace, including damages for loss of data, loss of profit, or loss of goodwill, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
  • Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under or related to these terms or your use of the app is limited to the total amount you paid us (via Apple) in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or £10, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of liability for certain types of damages. Where such laws apply to you, some of the above limitations may not apply, and your rights may be greater than those described here.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited under English law.

11. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Grace, with or without notice, if:

  • you breach any provision of these Terms of Service
  • your use of Ask Grace or any other feature violates our Acceptable Use Policy
  • we are required to do so by law or a court order
  • your account is associated with fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
  • we discontinue the Grace app or any part of it

If your account is suspended or terminated for breach of these terms, you are not entitled to a refund of any unused subscription period. Refund eligibility in other circumstances is governed by Apple's policies as described in Section 5.

You may stop using Grace at any time. Cancelling your subscription as described in Section 4 is sufficient to end your relationship with us.

12. Changes to the App and These Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where required by law, notify you via the app or email. Your continued use of Grace after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

We may also add, remove, or modify features of Grace at any time. We will try to give reasonable notice for significant changes, but we are not obligated to maintain any specific feature indefinitely.

13. Third-Party Services

Grace is built using third-party technologies and services, including Apple's App Store infrastructure and Supabase for data storage. Your use of Apple's services is governed by Apple's own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for the practices or content of any third-party service.

The app may contain links to external websites or resources. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, products, or services on those external sites.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms, including any question regarding their existence, validity, or termination, shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer resident in another part of the United Kingdom or the European Union, you may also have rights under the laws of your country of residence, and nothing in this clause limits those rights.

We will always try to resolve disputes informally first. If you have a concern, please contact us before initiating legal proceedings.
